Who We Are

FAIRMED India (FM) is a development organization that works with a mandate of 'health for the poorest' and has its roots with Fairmed Bern, Switzerland. It's prime focus is in addressing health and poverty related issues with an underlying philosophy that poor living conditions affects the health and well-being of individuals and communities.

FM plans to support both medical and social rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy. As a part of social rehabilitation FM will focus on community based rehabilitation of people affected by leprosy.

FM will also include direct projects in the field of urban health and the prevention of disability.

FM will collaborate with the Government of India (GoI) especially in activities related to the national Leprosy programs and in view of prevention and rehabilitation of disabilities
